How long can I keep the equipment for?

The prices we quote on our website are for one hire, which is for 48 hours or one weekend. Each addtional days hire is normally an extra 20%. If you require a longer term hire get in touch with our office for pricing information.

Do you charge for delivery & can I collect?

We do charge for delivery and collection based on distance starting at £16 + VAT each way. Alternatively, you can collect any orders from us directly.

Do you charge a deposit?

We do take a deposit in order to cover any missing or broken items and this can range from £30 up to £100 depending on the amount and type of equipment you have.

Are you open on bank holidays? Do you charge extra for bank holidays?

We are not open on bank holidays for a full list of official bank holidays, you can visit the HMRC website here.

We do not charge any extra for bank holiday weekends and the hire period will move from Friday to Tuesday, or in the case of Easter from Thursday to Tuesday. The only exception is Christmas is where we charge an additional 20%.

How and when can I pay?

For deliveries we require payment up to two weeks in advance by credit/debit card over the phone or cash on delivery. You can pay for collections on pick up.

Do we set the equipment up?

Our drivers do not set the equipment up by default, in certain circumstances we will set up equipment for an additional charge. An example is the dance floor which has a price for self assembly and a price for assembly by ABC. We try to send instructions with any relevant equipment. If you have any other questions we will be happy to help.

Can I see the items before hiring?

Yes, you can visit our showroom anytime we are open. For details on our opening hours and our location visit our contact page.

Do I need to wash the items before returning?

China, Glasses, Cutlery & other dinnerware need to be rinsed and scraped of all food before being returned. Alternatively for an additional 25% charge you can return these items dirty.

Laundry does not need to be washed but if it is wet please leave it to dry before placing it back in the bag. Wet Laundry can become effected by mildew and as a result will incur additional laundry costs.

Can I amend my order?

We require final numbers for your event 5 days before however you can make last minute additions up to 48 hours before delivery subject to availability.

Is there a cancellation charge?

In the event an order is cancelled you may incur a cancellation charge as follows:

  • 6 weeks before the date of delivery/collection = 10% of the hire charge
  • 2 weeks before the date of delivery/collection = 25% of the hire charge
  • 1-3 days before the date of delivery/collection = 50% of the hire charge

The cancellation charge will not include the delivery or cleaning fees providing the job has not left for the depot for delivery.
